Why am I not receiving an alert when there is an active alarm?

Do I need to connect a telephone line to the modem?
If you want the Protect Connect to have the ability to call you, yes. If you only want text and e-mail alerts, then you do not need a phone line connection.
How do I access my unit remotely?
First, you must create a Phason Web Services account. After you have an account, go to your control and select the Menu, Administration, Users, Add User from Web Services. Enter your Web Services email address.
Should I switch off the power to add or remove modules?
Yes. You should always fully power off the control before adding or removing modules.
How long is Analytics data stored?
Analytics data is stored for 90 days. If you want to keep data older than this you can print to PDF or save as a CSV file.
What are the dimensions of the Protect Connect and UPS?
The enclosure for the control is: 11.85 x 11 x 3.95 inches (30 x 28 x 10 cm). The enclosure for the UPS is: 14.25 x 5.83 x 6.73 inches (36.2 x 14.8 x 17.1 cm).
Why do email to SMS alerts not work?
As of June 2023 Rogers and Fido discontinued this functionality on their plans. If you have Rogers or Fido as your carrier, email to SMS alerts will not work.
Can I monitor my generator?
You can use universal digital inputs to accomplish this, if your generator is compatible with a digital output.
