What is the difference between Shut-off and Idle modes?
In
Shut-off mode, the control shuts off the fan when the temperature is below the
set point. In Idle mode, the fan runs at the idle speed when the temperature is
below the set point.
In OSB mode, the fan will idle for a set number of degrees below the set point; it will be off below that. In Idle mode, the fan will always idle below the set point, no matter how low the temperature goes.
The idle mode setting may be too low. Turn the Temperature knob fully clockwise. Turn the Idle Speed knob to the minimum fan speed desired. Turn the Temperature knob to the desired temperature.
If you cannot adjust the idle speed of your variable fan, and are just seeing three dashes rather than a number, you have the Minimum Ventilation Curve active for that zone. Go to Menu, Configuration, Zone Control Mode, and disable the Minimum ...
