Staged heater cycles on and off

Staged heater cycles on and off

Problem
Staged heater cycles on and off

Possible Cause
Possible Solution
Heater set points are too close together with variable speed fans.
  1. Adjust the hysteresis setting.
  2. Move the temperature probe closer to the heater.
  3. Widen the set points.
Heater too large for room
Replace the heater with a smaller output unit.
Stage is set up as a temperature-based duty cycle
Remove the duty cycle from the stage’s settings.
