Setting up an Inlet / Actuator / Curtain WITH Feedback

Setting up an actuator in AutoFlex Connect

These instructions are for actuators that require a feedback signal and will be programmed for traditional staged ventilation.

The two main steps are configuration and programming.

 

Configuration

1.       Go to the configuration screen.

2.       Press the check hardware icon.


3.       On the left side of the screen, select the group the actuator is in.

4.       On the right side of the screen, select the Actuator Module (ACT-1/ACT-1V) that the actuator is connected to. If you have an Expansion Box, you might have to press the right or left arrows.


5.       Press the 1 button.


6.       Make sure the selected group is correct.

7.       Enter a name.

8.       Press Actuator.

9.       Press Feedback.

10.   Select the type of feedback.

11.   Press Settings and then Confirm.

 

Programming

1.       Press the button for one of the stages (Min, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5).

2.       Adjust the set points by pressing the up or down arrows.

3.       Repeat the first two steps for each stage you want to adjust.
 NOTE: A stage's set point temperature must be higher than the differential temperature of the previous stage.


Calibrate the actuator

1.       Press Calibrate.

2.       Press Yes to confirm and start the calibration process. Follow any instructions on the screen.
