Receiving alerts when there is no active alarm
If you are receiving alerts when there is no alarm active, then you have alarm repeat turned on for your user. Go into Administration->Alert Schedule. Select your user from the drop-down menu, and press the alarm icon with the gear in the bottom right corner. You can then toggle off this feature. With this feature active, when an alarm occurs you will receive an alert. If that alarm condition is rectified and the alarm is no longer active, you will still receive the alerts until you go into the control and acknowledge the alarm.
