How to safely power cycle the AutoFlex Connect

Note: If the control is frozen or the touchscreen is not working for some reason, skip to step 3.

1.       Go to Menu -> Administration -> Diagnostics.

2.       Press Shut Down Display.
The control goes through a shutdown process. When the message “It is now safe to turn off the control.” displays, you can go to the next step.

3.       Open the cover of the AutoFlex Connect.

4.       Switch off the power using the switch on the bottom board.

5.     Wait for the red light on the controller board to turn off. This can take from 3 to 5 minutes. If you skipped to step 3 because your control was frozen or otherwise acting up, it may take up to ~20 minutes for the red light on the controller board to turn off. Once this light is off the controller has completely shut down.

6.       Switch on the power using the switch on the bottom board.
