Problem
Display showing unusually high or low temperature

Possible Cause
Possible Solution

If you have more than one probe connected, press buttons 1 to 4 to determine which probe is causing the high or low reading.
The probe is not a Phason probe. 
Remove the probe and then install a Phason probe.
The extension cable connected to the temperature probe is providing a poor connection
Check the extension cable connection. Resolder it if necessary.
Damaged probe
Replace the temperature probe.
