Configuring a shut off for light fixtures on a VDC-4 R1
Installing and configuring a shutoff for light fixtures
Follow this procedure if your light fixtures need
less than 0.5 VDC to be off and the
fixtures are connected to a VDC-4 module version R1. You
can find the version information at the location shown below.
Installation
Connect the light fixtures to the RM-4
and VDC-4 modules as shown below.
Configuration
1.
Go to the Configuration screen and then select
the relay the lights are connected to.
2.
Enter a name

Choose the function Follow Output (VAR).
4.
In the drop-down box, choose the VDC-4 output
the lights are connected to.
5. Click
Settings. You will be asked if you want to save the
configuration. Click Confirm.
The settings for the relay will show that is following the VDC-4 your lights.

Check light sensor error
This error means that the control is not seeing a valid reading from the light sensor. In most circumstances this is a sensor/wiring problem that needs to be addressed. Please see DOL’s Technical User Guide for some more information.
What is the difference between Shut-off and Idle modes?
In Shut-off mode, the control shuts off the fan when the temperature is below the set point. In Idle mode, the fan runs at the idle speed when the temperature is below the set point.
What does the “Check light sensor” error mean?
This error means the control is not seeing a valid reading from the light sensor. Usually, this is a sensor or wiring problem that needs to be fixed.
How do I install the VDC-4 module?
The VDC-4 module is installed into the Display side of your PLUS-TOUCH controller, there are 4 stand-offs where it will be secured by screws. Refer to the PLUS-TOUCH installation guide for pictures and more information.
