How do the Factor settings for the VentGrid and the Influence settings for individual actuators within the VentGrid work and interact?
The actuator minimum and maximum influence is independent of the VentGrid minimum and maximum factor setting. The VentGrid factor setting determines how much VentGrid-wide modifiers can affect the Vent Rate value, whereas the actuator influence minimum and maximum setting determines how much the actuator output itself can be affected. It is possible for both vent rate and actuator output to be modified simultaneously.
