• Check light sensor error

  This error means that the control is not seeing a valid reading from the light sensor. In most circumstances this is a sensor/wiring problem that needs to be addressed. Please see DOL’s Technical User Guide for some more information.

• Do I need 2 light sensors for 2 stages of light control?

  Yes. One sensor per channel, so when you have two channels, you need two sensors.

• How does the optional rain sensor work?

  When the rain sensor detects rain, the control will override the normal on/off duration settings and completely close the curtains until there has been no rain detected for 15 minutes.

• Does this control use a temperature sensor?

  No. The control is manual and adjusts output using the knob on the front.
