Autoflex Connect 2 LED troubleshooting

LED Behaviour in the AutoFlex Connect 2

Modules

Expected behaviour: Heartbeat green LED slow blink (one second on, one second off).

Fault behaviour (No communication with communication controller board): Heartbeat green LED fast blink (on and off within one second).

Backboard

Expected behaviour: L2 and L3 illuminated “constantly” (blinking so fast that it looks like constant illumination with a slight waver to it).

Fault behaviour (no communication [send/receive] from the backboard to the communication controller): L2 off.

Communication Controller

Expected startup behaviour: L2 on, L1 fast blink (on and off within one second). After a few seconds, it transitions to expected running behaviour.

Expected running behaviour: L2 off, L1 slow blink (one second on, one second off).

Battery Backup / Power Board

Expected behaviour when running: Red LEDs L6 and L7 on. Red LED underneath board on the single board computer (SBC) on. Green LEDs L8 and L9 occasionally flash. Blue LED L3 on (when battery is fully charged), Red LED L4 on (when battery is charging). Green LED L1 on.

Expected behaviour when starting up, but battery is low and needs to charge: Red LEDs L6 and L7 off. Red LED underneath board on the single board computer (SBC) off. Green LEDs L8 and L9 off. Red LED L4 on. Green LEDs L1 and L2 flashing rapidly.
